The Samuel Morris Story
Young Prince Kaboo is being held for ransom by a fierce enemy tribe. When his African father can no longer meet their demands, Kaboo’s fate is sealed. Angry warriors tie his weakened and bruised body to a post and prepare to finish him off. Just as Kaboo is about to pass out from pain, a blinding light appears, and the ropes fall away! Kaboo’s strength returns, and he hears a voice urging him to run. While stunned warriors look on in fear, Kaboo escapes into the jungle. He runs until he stumbles upon a mission station, where he learns of his heavenly Father who paid the ransom for all! His newfound faith leads to a new name and a new mission. Now calling himself Samuel Morris, he heads to the coast and boards a ship full of brutal men, determined to reach America.
